Question of the week

Ok...how many times a week do I have to
hear someone asking when David  and I are getting married...
ummm...we have heard it from so many eople in the past
week alone that he has since started to have this very
serious look on his face when he looks at me...and he has
found two old rings that he had just laying around his
dresser for me...Ben my brother asked me if there was
anything I needed to tell him when he saw the ring I was
wearing this afternoon...nope...nothing as of yet...  ;-)

My current mood

At times, especially this past week, I have felt like a second wheel in the life of my boyfriend and I. It all started when my younger brother (and my bf's best friend) told the two of us that his girlfriend is pregnant. I know that brought up a lot of memories for David as roughly a little under a year ago that was him and his girlfriend at the time. Knowing that, I have tried to keep my mouth shut on how I feel about the bitch who then went and aborted his baby. Especially given that in the time frame since she did that she has gotten together with another guy...we won't get into that drama filled issue state right now...and as she has claimed gotten pregnant twice...miscarried the first time and supposedly been pregnant since June. I just want to show up at her door and fucking curse her out for messing with people's heads the way that she is famous for doing. Personally, I want to know if she was ever even pregnant w/David's baby in the first place...did she have a test performed by a doctor or do we just have the word of a lying, conniving bitch to go on? Sorry for the language in this post...no one is ever going to read this so I feel safe in publishing exactly how I feel.

I can't even begin to talk about how much fun I am having on this trip to visit my brother in Idaho. We have hung out more in the past week then we had in years. What with hanging with his girlfriend (who is a total gem in my book) and then there is the guy that they seem set on setting me up with. Haha. Fun times. No, just kidding. But he does make me laugh at a time when I thought I never would again. Although, I do believe that should be afraid of the fact that their other "friend" also likes him to the point of texting non-stop asking if he is mad at her since he hasn't talked to her for longer then 24 hours.
And to make matters even more insane on my part, I have Zero experience in how to know if a guy likes me. Well, I can't count freshmen year in High School....*shaking head and shivers*....and other instances like that. Another time was right after graduating from High School but obviously nothing came out of that.
He called last night saying that he was picking me up to go hang out at his place w/my brother and my brother's girlfriend, Hannah, and I kinda sorta freaked out. I handled it well, but we shall see how things go from here. I am also considering moving back here to Idaho as soon as I can. And no, Lacey and Karl, it isn't just for some guy...

Things that keep me going

The 5 things that keep me going right now in life are:
  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Music
  4. Watching Sports (online)
  5. Theatre
My family and friends are always there helping me to keep going. This past 18 months have been a trail but hey, I'm Still Here. :)

Music. What can I say about my music? Without the music in my life, there would be nothing worth talking about. I hear songs that I've not heard in years and I am transported back in time (mentally) to the first time I heard said song.

Sports. Just recently I've started to watch sporting events online since I don't have access to normal TV airings. NASCAR especially. My favorite driver(s) at the moment include:

1. Joey Logano (Car #20)
2. Kyle Busch (Car #18)

June 26-27, 2009

Oh My Goodness. This past weekend is surely one that I will remember for a long time. On Friday, I was checking my facebook and twitter account and saw that the opening band for the Jonas Brothers, Honor Society was in Portland on the 26th...a day earlier than originally expected. And that they were having a pre-party in town. So I was able to go to the party and met the four guys that make up the band...Michael Bruno, Alexander Noyes, Jason Rosen, and Andrew Lee. Words can't describe how much fun that was. Took lots of pictures/videos...I ran out of batteries for the camera while talking to Michael so as soon as I was done I ran and bought new ones.

Then on the 27th (yesterday), was the Jonas Brothers concert and my friend had won tickets from Honor Society and seeing as her ticket was a better seat then the ones that she won, she gave me one of them. So I got an upgrade from section 205 to section 122. A much better seat. Jonas Brothers rocked the house but my fave part would have to be meeting the guys again. Alright...my top five fave part. Can't really decide what was my ALL-TIME fave part of the night, but meeting Michael, Alex, Jason, and Andrew again was a blast...I could go on forever about yesterday, but I will save it all for another post.

Cousin Brittney's baby

This a picture of me holding my cousin Brittney's newborn baby girl Sabrina Marie. She was born on Saturday October 11, 2008. She was 8 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 inches. Mom and baby went home on Wednesday and I was there from Wednesday night to last night.

job possibility

Those who I have talked with know that I am a member of a babysitting site called care.com that helps put parents in search of babysitters/nannies together with those of us that provide that service. Well, in the last week, I have had a mom request access to my background check that the site had done, and I approved the request. And just tonight, I got a message from her telling me about her "job offer" and asked me to reply if I was interested. Well, duh!! I was interested. It is for a work-at-home mom who has a 1 month old baby boy. And the duties would be to just watch him during the day. No housekeeping or anything like that. Just watch the baby. It would be a steady 4 to 8 hours a day Monday thru Friday. So I am really looking forward to where this opportunity takes me.
